49ers to Start Jimmy Garoppolo on Sunday

Garopollo was traded mid-season for a 2018 second-round pick to the Patriots

The 49ers sent out a tweet saying that Jimmy Garoppolo will start on Sunday in Chicago over CJ Beathard. Beathard, the rookie quarterback, had a breakout game resulting in the 49ers's only win this season.

Garoppolo has only had a few snaps under his belt as a 49er but he has put up some impressive numbers: 100% completion rate, 1 touchdown, 9 yards per pass, and a 143.8 QB rating.
