Despite leaving the Oracle Arena with a 125-115 win over the Pelicans, Warriors fan were left disappointed. Stephen Curry, who just became the 8th player to hit 2000 3-pointers, suffered a brutal ankle sprain.
Luckily, x-rays taken showed that Curry only sprained ankle considering the severe angle to which his ankle was bent. However, Curry left the Medical office in a walking boot and crutches.
Curry was known in his early career for his plethora of ankle issues. His ankles prevented Curry from playing at an MVP-level and being explosive. Hopefully this ankle injury does not reboot these ankle problems and Curry doesn't become a poor man's Derrick Rose.
