And the Newest XFL Star Is...

'#Comeback SZN'
Manziel went 2-6 as the Cleveland Browns QB
Vince McMahon has decided to reboot the XFL in 2020. The league was first created in 2001. Things went well the opening weekend, as the XFL was taking in 14 Million viewers, but it soon collapse due to declining ratings. The WWE and NBC ended up losing $35 Million in investments. Upon McMahon's announcement of reopening the XFL, he's gotten lots of interest from former Pro and College football stars, most notably: Johnny Manziel.

Johnny Manziel tweeted at Vince McMahon hinting that he was available for the 2020 XFL league. Manziel, a former Texas A&M Heisman winner and NFL starter, was suspended for domestic abuse charges. Manziel has been pondering a #ComebackSZN for last few months.

However, don't get your hopes up, Manzielmania. Unfortunately, McMahon said he wouldn't allow players with a criminal record to play in the XFL, which Manziel has after accepting a plea to his domestic assault charge. "We are evaluating a player based on many things, including the quality of human being they are," McMahon said, per ESPN's Darren Rovell. "If you have any sort of criminal record or commit a crime you aren't playing in this league."
